Anjali Mehta Tendulkar was born on Friday, 10 November 1967 (age 55 years; in 2022) in Mumbai and grew up at 75 Bhulabhai Desai Road, one of Mumbai’s most luxurious residential bungalows. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. He completed his schooling up to matric (10th standard) at Bombay International School, Bombay (now Mumbai). He did his 11th and 12th standard at St. Xavier, Mumbai. She married Sachin Tendulkar, often regarded as the God of Cricket, on 24 May 1995 at the ‘Jewel of India’ restaurant in Worli, Mumbai. They got engaged to each other in 1994. The couple has two children, a daughter named Sara Tendulkar, and a son named Arjun Tendulkar, a cricketer.

His father-in-law’s name is late Ramesh Tendulkar, and his mother-in-law’s name is Rajni Tendulkar. His great-grandfather was a wealthy landowner. He has many cousins who are half Mexican and half Gujarati. One of her aunts married a Lebanese businessman.

Relationships/Affairs
Anjali dated Sachin for five years before marrying him in 1995. In an interview, Anjali said that she first saw Sachin at the Mumbai Airport in 1990 as she went to receive her mother, and Sachin was returning from a tour of England, where he scored his maiden Test century. He had no idea about who Sachin was, and his friends then told him about Sachin. They later met at a common friend’s party, where they got to know each other. She was 22 years old, and Sachin was 17 years old when they started dating. He went to Sachin’s house for the first time disguised as a journalist. During their courtship, she once watched the film Roja with Sachin who wore a fake beard and glasses to avoid public attention and even went late; however, the crowd recognized him, and they had to leave the theater in the middle of the film. Sachin told her to talk to both families, her family and Sachin, about their marriage, which she did, and they married each other in a lavish ceremony in 1995.

Pediatrician
After completing his studies, he started practicing at JJ Hospital Mumbai as a Paediatrician; however, after marrying Sachin, she quit her job as a doctor and became a housewife to take care of the family. In 2019, several media reports claimed that he was evaluating academic courses or internships in the United Kingdom or Sion Hospital in Mumbai.

Philanthropy
He often helps his mother in her social endeavors. He is the co-founder of SRT Sports Management Pvt Ltd and the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation, which works in healthcare, education and sports for the underprivileged.

- Her marriage to Sachin Tendulkar was such a crowd pleaser that a cable operator offered Sachin Rs 40 lakhs to telecast her wedding live; however, he declined the offer, citing the wedding as a private occasion.
- In October 2021, his name, along with Sachin and his father, Anand, appeared in the Pandora Papers as the beneficial owner (BO) of an offshore company called Saas International Limited, which was dissolved in 2016.
