Anjana Om Kashyap is an Indian journalist and anchor. He is the executive editor of Indian news channel ‘Aaj Tak’ and is known for his shows “Halla Bol” and “Special Report.” He is known for his fierce and aggressive stance on social issues.

Anjana Om Kashyap was born on 12 June 1975 (age 48 years; in 2023) in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, India. His family has its roots in the town of Arrah in Bihar. His zodiac sign is Gemini. He did his schooling from Loreto Convent School, Ranchi. He aspired to become a doctor and after completing his schooling, he appeared for several Pre-Medical Entrance Tests. However, he was unable to break any of them. Anjana, then, enrolled herself in Daulat Ram College, Delhi University to pursue honors in Botany. She has a master’s degree in social work from the Delhi School of Social Works. After that, he prepared for the UPSC exam but again failed to clear it. Finally, he followed a diploma course in Journalism from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. After completing the Journalism course, he appeared for various interviews and was selected as a news anchor on Doordarshan.

Career
Anjana started her career as a journalist in 2003 with the show “Ankhon Dekhi” on Doordarshan. In the same year, he resigned from Doordarshan and joined Zee News. He worked there as a desk clerk for about five years and then joined News 24 as an anchor in 2007. In News 24, he hosted the debate show “Do Tuk” and gained wide popularity for his neutrality and impartiality. against everyone. After that, he joined ABP News for a while before moving to Aaj Tak where he hosted debate shows like “Rajtilak” and “Dilli Ke Dil Mein Kya Hai.”

- Anjana Kashyap attracted controversy for giving illogical reasons on Rani Padmavati’s lineage.
