Ankita Shrivastav was born to a prestigious family in Kanpur and raised in Bombay, Bengal, and Orissa.
She grew up hopping from one school to another. Changing places frequently exposed Ankita to different cultures, which later helped her in having a better understanding of different characters. At the age of four, she made her first stage performance. Ankita developed an interest in acting at a young age and used to participate in plays, elocutions, and declamations in her school and college days.

Ankita Shrivastav started her career as a theatre artist. She has been a part of plays like “Talli Tuesday.”
Shrivastav started her YouTube channel named “Filmy Chokri” in 2012 on which she uploads her standup comedy videos. Her first standup video, “Bombay Girls, Local Trains,” received a great response from the audience. The video garnered over 4 million views within a few days.
Ankita has been featured in the TV commercials of many popular brands like Dairy Milk, Dominos, LG, Tata Sky, and New York Life Insurance. She has created and played characters like Billo Rani and Natasha, which are very popular among the audience.

In 2016, she made her Bollywood debut by playing the role of ‘Poonam’ (Sarbjit’s daughter) in the film “Sarbjit.”
