Anna Faris claims that the late Ivan Reitman touched her inappropriately while she was filming My Super Ex-Girlfriend. He recounted the incident on his podcast.

The actor was 30 at the time and the experience was an eye-opener for him, calling it, “the hardest film experience” he couldn’t be his cheerful self. “I mean, the idea of trying to do comedy under this, like, reign of terror, he’s a screamer,” He told his guest Lena Dunham of him Anna Faris is the Unworthy podcast.
To make matters worse, it was the actress’ first day on set. “He would knock someone down every day, and my first day, it was me.” Faris explained that there was an accident on the set that made him late to the set, to film, but he was there the whole time. In the back getting her hair and makeup done.

The House Rabbit The actress, 45, explained that Reitman never wanted to hear that explanation. According to Fraris, a “huge jar of wig glue” spilled on her right side before she was supposed to be on set, so naturally, she had to be cleaned up. It took too long for the director’s liking.
The incident upset him immediately because he wanted to be professional. “I’m really scared that Ivan thinks I’m some kind of diva for not getting out of my trailer.” When he finally got set, “20-25 minutes late on my first day,” Reitman wasn’t impressed.
“I was like in the middle of the street all lit up, it was a night shoot, and Ivan just took me down.”

The actor was not only confused but he was embarrassed by the lashing of the crowd who could be his grandfather. “She’s just like ‘Annie!’ – he always calls me Annie – he’s like ‘you can’t play like that here!’ — and I was like ‘don’t do it, don’t cry, don’t cry,’ and I felt angry and hurt and humiliated and defensive.”
After he calmed himself down, he tried to speak. “Finally I said ‘didn’t anyone tell you what happened?’ And at that point he just shut up and went behind the camera.
The strange energy on set didn’t end there. “Later he will slap my ass,” Faris claimed. Admits, “it was a strange moment.”

The Horror film The actress made the same claim a few years ago in 2017 but refused to name the director. Reitman died in February and we’re not saying there’s a correlation but, it’s certainly a development.
Dunham chimed in to say that she had also heard allegations about Reitman from others in the business. He recounts his own odd experience with Reitman’s films. Dunham said she appeared on the set of one of her films, “it’s a comedy, but nobody’s laughing and everybody’s scared.”
