On Monday, Hathaway joined SiriusXM’s “The Jess Cagle Show” and talked about her decades-long career in the film industry. The “Ella Enchanted” actress also named a movie she wants her two children to see one day. Although many titles come to mind, Hathaway revealed that she thinks “The Devil Wears Prada” is the perfect movie to show her children.

The actor starred in David Frankel’s film since 2006. It saw him play Andy Sachs and co-star with Meryl Streep, who played a powerful fashion magazine editor named Miranda Priestly. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Lauren Weisberger, released in 2003.

The movie’s audience clearly wasn’t the only one who enjoyed it, judging by Hathaway’s comments about the 2006 project. She revealed that she was “so excited” to show it to her children and described it as “a joy” and “very well made.”

“I’m really excited to show them ‘The Devil Wears Prada.’ It’s a good film,” said the actress HuffPost. “And I say that you know, humbly, I was a small part of the movie. “It’s David Frankel, our director. It’s Meryl Streep. I mean, you know, Stanley [Tucci]Emily [Blunt]everyone ― Patricia Field.”

“It’s such a joy of a movie, and it’s so well-crafted, and it’s so funny, and I love that about it,” Hathaway added. “And I think it holds up well, and it looks great,” Hathaway continued.

In a 2020 interview with People’s Magazine, Hathaway revealed a project she’s working on that she’ll do her best to keep away from her kids. At the time, “The Witches” had just been released, and the actress was doing the media rounds to promote the film.

Hathaway plays the Grand High Witch in fantasy and is very wary of the children who watch her because of her bone-chilling smile. “Other people’s kids can see it, but my kids can’t watch this movie until they’re 30 because every time I smile, they’ll get weird,” he said.

Hathaway attended the just-concluded New York Fashion week and picked out some seriously cool outfits to wear to the event. The actress wore a black turtleneck top under a brown leather jacket. She completed the casual look with a skirt and hair styled with bangs.

The look is shockingly reminiscent of the outfit worn by Hathaway’s character, Sachs, in “The Devil Wears Prada.” It’s no wonder he’s received numerous questions about whether the hit movie will get a sequel. However, Hathaway quickly bit him.

While talking to Entertainment Tonight, Hathaway said, “There will be no sequel. It won’t happen. It’s like, we can’t do that. It won’t happen. It exists. There are other movies. There will be another movie. We can only watch that one [The Devil Wears Prada] one more time.”
