In a touching moment during the reunion, host Andy Cohen revealed that Annemarie’s mother, Jane, died while they were filming Season 13. Annemarie spoke openly about the devastating event, telling how her mother’s health quickly deteriorated, with doctors detecting a large tumor in himself lungs during a routine examination.
Despite her great sadness, Annemarie preferred not to reveal her mother’s condition to her co-stars during filming, preferring to split her feelings. In a pre-reunion interview, Annemarie stated that her mother died of Stage IV lung cancer three months after filming finished, emphasizing the devastating impact it had on her family.
She added that she decided to tell her story at the reunion to process her grief and raise awareness of the difficulties she experienced at the time.
