Anshula was born on 29 December 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He was very good in studies and also interested in acting since childhood. He is a former employee at Google and has also performed in various stage plays as the lead actor since 2005 such as Bhagwad Ajjukam, The Night of January 16th, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Oedipus, A Thousand Cranes, etc.

He was born to film producer Boney Kapoor and late producer Mona Shourie Kapoor who died on 25 March 2012 due to cancer. His father and mother divorced when he was only 4 years old. The late female superstar Sridevi is her stepmother who passed away on 24 February 2018. As per media reports, Sridevi died due to accidental drowning in the bathtub of her hotel room in Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai, UAE. She has a brother Arjun Kapoor who is an actor by profession. He has two half-siblings Jhanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.

Career
He attended Ecole Mondiale World School, Juhu, Mumbai and completed his BA at Barnard College, New York City, New York. While in school, 3 years in a row he got Certificate of Academic Excellence in 2005, 2006, and 2007. He has great knowledge of Chemistry, Geography, and English Language & Literature. Because of his great and consistent performance in the ninth and tenth standard, he was awarded with the Head of Middle Years Award. From 2006 to 2007, he was a member and head of the organization Model United Nations aka Model UN. He received the Community Service Award in 2007.
After graduating, he started working as a team builder in 2012 for Habitat for Humanity International’s Economic Empowerment. In the same year, he worked on a house construction project in Cluj, Romania. He then got an opportunity to work with the top tech company Google as an AdWords Representative where he worked for just five months. After that, he moved to Gurugram, Haryana and worked there for some time as an Associate Account Strategist. In 2014, he went to Mumbai and started working at Exceed Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. as Associate – Licensing & Merchandising but left within one year. In 2015, he started working as an Operations Manager at Hrithik Roshan’s company, HRX.
