Fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief after it was revealed that Ant Anstead and Christina Hall have settled their bitter fight over who will have full custody of their son Hudson. The TV presenter, soon after, posted a photo of herself looking content as she enjoyed a fun barbecue with her son.

Earlier that year, things got a little tense between the former couple when the 43-year-old shook things up by claiming the 3-year-old was unsafe with his mother and demanding full legal custody. Not one to back down, Hall kicked back, and a long, fierce battle began with everyone else holding their breath to see who would emerge victorious.

Fortunately, the two decided to sheathe their swords and return to raising their little one in peace. The car enthusiast shared an image of himself and his son smiling widely at the camera on his Instagram story. Captioning the fun “BBQ Night” photo, the “Celebrity IOU Joyride” star held Hudson and grinned at her as the toddler giggled into the camera.

Being able to spend enough time with his son and seeing the big smile on his face must be why he’s willing to give it all up, as The Blast shared that the trial date has already been sent for March next year.

The estranged couple did not want to drag it out that long for the sake of their child because, according to the obtained documents, they decided to stick to the original agreement signed after their divorce in 2021.

The document, drawn up on November 18, was signed by California Superior Court Judge Lee Gabriel, detailing that the former couple will continue to have joint legal and physical custody of Hudson. It also contains a schedule for all holidays of the year with some exceptions.

It states that for Thanksgiving, the 3-year-old will be with his father on odd-numbered years and with his mother on even-numbered years from the Wednesday before the holiday to the following Monday.

For Christmas — Anstead will take her in odd-numbered years from 23 to 25 with a week off after school at that time, as long as the reality TV star is given a written note for the planned holiday on or before December 1 of that year — and vice versa.

Other holidays such as Easter Sunday and July 4th will follow the same pattern – odd years for Hall and even years for Anstead – and vice versa. It also reads that on Halloween, Hudson will be with his mother on odd years and his father on even years.

Both camps declined to release a statement regarding the new agreement that would lead to the cancellation of future court appearances.

Not long ago, social media users accused Anstead of hypocrisy for her decision to post a picture of Hudson when the boy’s mother could not do the same. The Blast reports that some followers seem to have decided to fight Hall by slamming him every time he uploads an image.

One scenario is when Anstead shows a fun playtime with his toddler in a car made of boxes. The slide shows the progression from a regular box to a blue car with a small child playing in it, looking very happy. In the caption of the post, he wrote:

“What started as a precious game with a simple cardboard box became us making a race car for Teddy, which then became a race car for Hudzo.”

He added that his son was clearly a car guy as he listed the tools used to create the toy. Despite the cuteness of the image, users were more interested in his ability to post when the boy’s mother couldn’t.

Some dropped comments like, “why can you post pictures, and her mother can’t? Losing respect for you,” “Aren’t you the one who didn’t want Cristina to post pictures of your child? Please explain,” among others.
