Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters calling for the annihilation of the Jewish state stormed Grand Central Terminal on Friday night, angrily punching and kicking the station’s locked entrance which had to be temporarily closed following rowdy demonstrations.
The mob was part of the “Flood Manhattan for Gaza” protest that initially gathered at Columbus Circle earlier in the evening, where they burned Israeli flags and taunted a small group of counter-protesters before marching through Manhattan and splattering fake blood. New York Times building.
“We don’t want a Jewish state. We want ’48!” anti-Israel protesters chanted at the starting point, referring to Palestine before the establishment of Israel.
“Settlers, settlers come home! Palestine is only ours!” shouted the crowd.
“It is right to rebel. Israel, go to Hell!” others chanted.
Across the street stood a small group of Israeli supporters. Bergen County resident Gregory Jachts, 56, said he found it “offensive that they are here chanting the elimination of Israel.”
“They are chanting from the river to the sea and that is calling for the annihilation of Israel and the genocide of the Jews,” said Jachts, who is not Jewish but has family in Israel.

Several protesters confronted a pro-Israel woman who covered her mouth with her hand trying to hold back tears as an NYPD officer spoke to her.
“Cry b—h, cry!” a masked man yelled at the distraught woman and a handful of other pro-Israel protesters from behind a police barricade.

“You Zionist mothers!” he said before the police pushed him away.
“You guys have no f—-g support! F–k you! I’ll wake you up when I see you!” a Palestinian supporter shouted at another pro-Israel protester before police told him to move.

About 2,000 protesters marched east on 59th Street from Columbus Circle and posted signs reading “Zionism is terrorism,” and “Israel is committing genocide in Gaza!” in the windows and doors of the Dior store on 5th Avenue.
Anna Ahmed, 40, who lives in Midtown, held a Palestinian flag as she marched. He told The Post he wants to see an end to the violence.
“Since ’48 Israel came and occupied Palestine. Since that day and today they kill children and children. “Every day they bomb hospitals, children and schools, and houses,” he said.
More than 11,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, according to the Hamas-run health ministry, since Israel responded to a surprise Hamas attack on October 7 that left about 1,200 Israelis dead.

Demonstrators projected the messages “Palestine will be free,” “Stop apartheid,” “Stop funding Israel,” and “Stop Imperialism” on the Museum of Modern Art building before heading to Times Square.
The group turned south and went on a rampage at two different Starbucks stores on 6th Avenue and Madison Avenue, prompting employees to lock the doors at one location.
“Shut up! Turn it off!” they shout as customers and employees look on.
“You make a drink for genocide! You make a drink for genocide!” the others screamed.

Some left pro-Palestinian stickers on windows as a large group of police stood in front of the door.
They then splashed fake blood on the iconic New York Times building, where hundreds of Pro-Palestinian protesters took over on Thursday.
“F–k the New York Times!” the crowd chanted.
“Zionist media. That is the Zionist media. I’ll see you again, b—h!” a Palestinian supporter shouted at a reporter before police separated them.

“Go back to where you came from! You feel a certain way? Go back to where you came from!” a frustrated pedestrian told Palestinian supporters outside the Times building.
The march continued to Grand Central Terminal, where protesters tried to force their way through locked doors.

Dozens of police cordoned off the terminal and ordered the crowd – which had dwindled to several hundred – to disperse.
The entrance to Grand Central was closed Friday night because of the demonstration.
Pro-Palestinian protesters shut down a train station during protests last month in which more than 300 people were arrested.
At least one man was seen being arrested Friday night near Lexington Avenue and 43rd Street by several police officers as protesters shouted at police.
“NYPD, KKK, IDF! They are all the same!” the crowd mocked the police.
Police confirmed that several people had been arrested but did not have a final tally.
