Anup Upadhyay is an Indian actor known for his comedic roles in TV shows and films. He gained fame for playing David Mishra, also known as “Chachaji,” in the Hindi comedy series Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! (2015).

He continued his studies at the University in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. After graduation, He moved to Delhi and started acting in dramas with writer Habib Tanvir. Anup made his acting debut with the television show Yes Boss in 1999; she was a part of the show till 2009 and played the role of Sunny on SAB TV.

In 2014, he played Govardhan Dubey in the television show Neeli Chatri Waale on Zee TV from 2014 to 2016.
