Anushka Shetty is a popular Indian actress, who mostly works in Telugu and Tamil film industry. She is best known for her role as Princess Devasena in the pan-Indian film series Baahubali (2015–2017). She received critical acclaim for her lead performances in the Tamil drama films Vaanam (2011), Deiva Thirumagal (2011) and Size Zero (2015). She is also known for playing lead roles in the Telugu films Arundhati (2009), Vedam (2010), and Rudhramadevi (2015).

In 2005, Shetty made her debut with Puri Jagannadh’s Telugu film Super in which she played the role of Sasha, alongside Nagarjuna and Ayesha Takia.
