Aparajita Apu is an Indian Bengali television drama directed by Swapan Kumar Nandi. Aparajita Apu was released on 30 November 2020. It airs from Monday to Friday, 8:30 pm on Zee Bangla as well as digitally on the Zee5 App. The show has always maintained the Top 5 position in the weekly Bengali show chart. It was widely watched by the Bengali audience, it got the highest viewership of 4.6 million, in the 9th week of 2021.
The story revolves around a young girl named, Aparna (Apu). Apu aspires to become a government officer (BDO) and break all stereotypes. However, her sister, Suparna (Supu), is about to marry Abala’s third son, a conservative woman by nature. But Abala’s sister, Juthika, plans to demand dowry and annul the unpaid marriage. However, knowing Juthika’s plan and threatening to call the police, Juthika gets scared and the wedding goes off. Later, Apu and Abola’s last son, Dipyaman (Dipu), fell in love with each other and got married. Dipu supports his bride in pursuing her ambitions but she faces challenges from her mother-in-law.
