Career
He first appeared in the television movie Choturango in 2015. The story is about the reunion of four friends almost 20 years after an accident. She was also seen in the short film Saffron Ash as Shivali in 2017 where a journalist’s unexpected encounter with a holy man, becomes a story of revenge through personal empowerment.
Aparajita was cast in the web series JL50 as Maitri played by Abhay Deol, Pankaj Kapoor and Ritika Anand. The series showcases the mystery of a plane that was recently found to have crashed in West Bengal. However, what is puzzling about the incident is that the plane originally disappeared 35 years ago.
Aparajita debuted as a director and writer with the film Mystic Memoir in 2019. The film revolves around Rishu, a teenage boy who runs away from home trying to escape the pressures of life created by his parents and peers. The film is part of the 18th Dhaka International Film Festival.
She also appeared in the English short film The Watched Women. She then appeared in the Bengali romantic comedy drama show Amader Ei Poth Jodi Na Sesh Hoy aired on Zee Bangla. The show depicts the journey of a rich and lively girl Urmi, who eventually becomes a lady taxi driver and falls in love with Satyaki, a boy from a lower middle class family.
