Vineet and Apeksha met a few months before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 through mutual friends. Interestingly, when Vineet tested positive, Apeksha was assigned as his nurse. In an interview, he talked about the same and said,
We were introduced by a mutual friend in Jammu about eight months before the outbreak hit. Over time, our friendship developed into a relationship, and we grew to love each other very much. I have always wanted a family, and I think Apeksha is the perfect life partner for me. Fortunately, our family has been on good terms since the beginning.
