Ariana Grande is somewhere FAR over the rainbow.
The singer is currently reprising her role as Galinda/Glinda “The Good Witch” for the Broadway musical adaptation of “Wicked”.
Grande has fully embraced her role as Galinda/Glinda by wearing all pink and even switching up her iconic hairstyle.
Ariana Grande Has Transformed Into “The Good Witch”
The “Greedy” singer recently responded to some greedy fans begging him for new music.
While singing “Over the Rainbow” on TikTok and her Instagram Stories, Grande answered this fan question: “Why Aren’t You a Singer Anymore?!?!?!?”
Grande proved she still has the singing talent she’s ALWAYS had and even added a very small caption to explain to her fans why she’s been away creating new music.
“Really on set filming two musicals all day every day ???????,” he replied.

He added, “*Mid reading* *hides Galinda’s hair*”
Ari tried to hide her blonde hair from view, but her bleached eyebrows kinda drew her attention to the fact that she was blonde.
She covered herself with a pink knitted blanket.
Cynthia Erivo Defends Ariana Grande
Grande’s co-star Cynthia Erivo reposted her IG Story and added her own comment to show fans that she’s still a singer
“She is and always will be a singer, it just so happens that she can do more than that!!! Now… like you were… we are working!!! ? ??.”
Erivo starred opposite Grande in the film “Wicked” as Elphaba.
The movie-musical adaptation initially excited Broadway fans around the world; however, when “Wicked” director John M. Chu announced in April 2022 that the film adaptation would be split into TWO SEPARATE FILMS… fans were furious.
In a lengthy note posted to Instagram on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, Chu wrote, “SPECIAL WICKED UPDATE/ Thank you for all the support over the past few months in anticipation of the WICKED movie. We have so many exciting things to share but for now I’ll give you one… or two, instead.”

Chu later explained that he and his team had a hard time whittling down the musical numbers, songs and script.
“As we prepared this production over the last year, it became increasingly clear that it was impossible to wrestle the story of WICKED into one film without doing some damage to it. When we try to cut a song or trim a character, the decision starts to feel like a fatal compromise to the source material that has entertained us. All over the years,” he continued. “So we decided to give ourselves a bigger canvas and make not just one WICKED movie but TWO!!!! With a larger space, we can tell the story of WICKED as it was meant to be told while bringing more depth and surprise to the journey of these beloved characters.”

Chu promised fans that he, Grande, Erivo, and the cast and crew will create nothing less than “an experience that respects its foundation for all the fans who have been waiting for this film, and to offer a thrilling, fantastical world full of dynamic. characters that invite in their unknown selves.
“WICKED” part one will be released in December 2024 and part two of the adaptation will be released in December 2025.
One critic tweeted, “This is a very bad decision. Where would you end the first movie? At ‘Defying Gravity’ and you’re leaving part 2 without the show’s biggest and most recognizable song? I knew when you were announced as director that only stupid decisions would be made.”
“How does a ~2.5 hour stage musical (with a 15-20 minute intermission) not fit into a ~2.5 hour movie? I mean, that already gives you ~20 *more* minutes of movie time for the same material,” another disappointed fan questioned.
