Arizona man threatens to ‘execute’ Rabbi, ‘every other JEW I can find’ if criminal charges aren’t dropped

An Arizona man with a history of threatening local leaders was arrested Saturday for threatening to kill a local Rabbi and “every other JEW I can find tonight at midnight on your Sabbath.”

Jeffrey Mindock, 50, allegedly sent an antisemitic email with the subject line “HITLER WAS A REAL RABBI” to the religious leader of a Scottsdale synagogue the morning before his arrest, according to an arrest affidavit seen by The Post.

Mindock viciously berated Jews in the message before trying to intimidate the Rabbi into helping exonerate Mindock from criminal charges he was facing in state district court for previously threatening the lives of other local residents.

“When I saw the atrocities that happened in Palestine, I realized that YOU are the one to blame for all the evil in this world. Zionist Jews control everything from the courts to the banks to the media,” Mindock allegedly wrote.

“We both know that you are in control. I give you until midnight tonight to convince your servant, the Fifth District Court of Utah [sic] to drop the charges against me.

“If you do not use your influence to right this wrong, I will punish you and every other Jew I can find tonight at midnight on your Sabbath.”

Mindock then offered to meet with the Rabbi in person for further communication before signing the email: “Shalom, Viktor Sitkevicz.”

Despite using an email domain owned by a foreign entity to disguise his true location, Mindock willingly offered his home address to meet the Rabbi in person, federal authorities said.

The location matches the motor vehicle records that list the address as Mindock’s Tempe home.

The disturbing email was not the first sent by Mindock since being charged in 2021 with threatening to kill a community member — telling the man he had enough guns, ammunition and explosives to kill a SWAT team, authorities said.

In August, Mindock allegedly sent a threatening email to a “Zionist sympathizer” lawyer and judge assigned to the case claiming in the subject line that the judge was “going to die.”

Mindock demanded the court schedule a “trial/execution” date where he would personally suspend the judge for “helping the Israelis” in pursuing an injunction against Mindock after he allegedly threatened to kill others.

“He will be hanged for his crimes,” said the email, which also included an address to Mindock’s home and was sent from an address containing the word “sitkevicz.”

During his initial court appearance, he allegedly threatened to “sentence to death” another judge and two other individuals if the judge ruled against him – adding that Unibomber Ted Kaczynski was his “hero”.

He was also the subject of a 2020 FBI investigation for threatening a neighbor’s life and then telling police he was quietly refusing to be arrested.

“It’s going to end badly for him,” Mindock said, according to the documents.
