Arjun Chakrabarty is an Indian actor who has worked in many Bengali films, TV shows and web series. He is the son of Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and elder brother of Gaurav Chakrabarty.

He completed his schooling at Assembly of God Church School, Kolkata and studied Humanities in 11th and 12th standard. He pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Videography at the College of St. Xaviers, Kolkata. He also worked as a child artist in several TV shows. While studying in his final year of college, he started acting in TV shows to pursue a career in the Bengali film industry (also known as Tollywood).

He met Sreeja Sen while studying in 11th grade and dated her for 10 years before marrying her in 2016. In an interview, he revealed that when Sreeja moved from North Kolkata to South Kolkata, he used to go to her house on a bicycle.

He has worked in many plays in theater including Ekhon Tokhon in 2013, Dudh Kheyeche Mao in 2014, and Chitey Gur in 2016. Interestingly, all these three plays were directed by Arindam Ganguly.

He made his debut with the 2010 TV show Gaaner Oparey and played the role of Gora. His acting was loved by fans and praised by critics.
