Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Back And Its ‘FUBAR’ (On Netflix)

When he said, “I’ll be back,” fans didn’t realize what Arnold Schwarzenegger meant was on Netflix, and it would be FUBAR! And no, we’re not telling that. He returns to action in the new Netflix series, “FUBAR,” which promises action-packed action. The best thing is that it was inspired by one of Schwarzenegger’s hit movies, but not “Terminator.” Read on to learn more.

Nobody Acts Like Arnold Schwarzenegger & Netflix

Schwarzenegger is best known for his “Terminator” franchise, though many still lust after his hunky “Conan, the Barbarian” days. Now, the 75-year-old former California governor is back, starring in Netflix’s latest action comedy series, “FUBAR.”

The plot is about a CIA officer who has just retired but discovers a family secret that forces him back into the field for one last job. Of course, since he was still an action star, the role required Schwarzenegger to act with his on-screen daughter Monica Barbaro. The show also stars Jay Baruchel, Barbara Eve Harris, and Adam Pally,

Along with being an action series, Schwarzenneger kicked off the character because he was able to explore his comedy again, as he did in movies like “Jingle All the Way” and “Kindergarten Cop.”

Here’s a glimpse of this “reloaded” action hero.

FUBAR premiered in LA just a few hours ago, and it looks like the family was there to support Daddy Schwarzenegger with daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger and son-in-law Chris Pratt in tow.

Schwarzenegger was all smiles at the premiere as he talked about the series and how much fun he had with it. As a gentleman, he also has praise for his contemporary, Sylvester Stallone, since he was recently on the screen with “Tulsa King.” The two starred together in the movie “Escape Plan,” and the “Terminator” star said of the “Rambo” action legend, “That was great. Stallone did his best; I’m so proud of him.”

Meanwhile, it looks like Schwarzenegger isn’t just promoting FUBAR on Netflix. However, Netflix, as well as he launched a small promotion, driving a tank on top of a car, about all the incredible action movies on the streaming channel, such as “Extraction 2”, “The Witcher,” and more.

As Schwarzenegger, Netflix’s Chief Action Officer, put it, “Nobody knows action like me, and nobody gets attention like Netflix!”

What do the fans think?

“All hail the GOAT.”

“Arnold’s upcoming docs and Extraction 2 are the only reasons I’ll reactivate Netflix. And if he takes a position with Netflix, maybe it “might” be worth keeping for a while.”

“Wow, love it….and I love my action movies and action series…..need I say I love Arnold too?”

“The savior of Netflix.”

The Inspiration Behind ‘FUBAR’ Is ‘True Lies

The coolest trivia for Arnold Schwarzenegger fans is that “FUBAR” was inspired by “True Lies,” a fairly iconic movie starring the man himself and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Said the actor, speaking to the media, “We tried for years, and years to make a sequel to ‘True Lies,’ then we thought about a TV series. Then finally, it came true. When [the creator] came to me and said, “Arnold, do you want to do a TV series,’ I said – well, that’s not the first thing that came to my mind – but I said, ‘What do you have in mind?'”

The creator of “FUBAR” pitched the storyline, and he was sold. “I said, ‘I like it; let’s do that.’ So, they wrote it, [creator] Nick Santora did a great job with his first type of 20 pages, and they drew me in.”
