Death

In 2022, he was diagnosed with a rare long-term neuromuscular disease, Myasthenia Gravis, and was admitted to Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai. 79-year-old Arun Bali passed away on October 7, 2022 in Mumbai at 4:30 am. In an interview, his son Ankush spoke about his father’s chronic illness and his last days. He said,

Dad left us. He has Myasthenia gravis. He had mood swings for two-three days. He told the caretaker he wanted to go to the toilet and after coming out he said he wanted to sit down and he never got up then.”

  • Arun Bali lives a simple life without any glamor and hype.
  • During the interview, Arun shared that in his youth, he used to wear his best friend’s turban. She further added that she thought she looked very beautiful in it so she started wearing a turban.
