Arushi was a studious child. She is an engineering graduate. When Arushi was in college, the filmmaker, Imtiaz Ali, visited her college for the reconnaissance of his film, Tamasha. At that time, Arushi auditioned for the role of ‘Sanjukta’ in the film and bagged the role. After playing a small role in the film, Arushi moved to Gurgaon and started working there in a private firm.

Career
Arushi Sharma started her acting career in 2015 by appearing in the Bollywood film “Tamasha.” She played the role of Sanjukta, the history teacher in the film.
In 2020, she featured in the Bollywood film “Love Aaj Kal” in which she played the role of ‘Leena,’ Kartik’s schoolmate in the 90s.
Arushi has also been a part of a video titled ’60 Second Conversations’ with Dhruv Sehgal.

- When asked in an interview about doing theatre, Arushi said,
I am from Himachal Pradesh, which doesn’t have an active theatre scene.”
- After appearing in the Bollywood film “Tamasha,” Arushi started sending her performance videos to various casting directors. It was the casting director, Mukesh Chhabra, who found her and called her to give an audition in Delhi. Arushi bagged the second lead in the film within 15 days of her audition.
- While sharing how it felt to work with her co-star, Kartik Aryan, Arushi said,
Even he is an engineer, it was like meeting an old buddy. He is an actor who is always trying to improve his craft and a good co-star who elevated my performance, too. He can stay focused even in chaos, I can’t.”
