In 2021, he predicted that former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa would resign by August, and his prediction came true when he resigned in July 2021. Controversy
Accused of sexual misconduct
Reportedly, a woman, a resident of Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh accused Aryavardhan of sexually assaulting her at his residence in Rajarajeshwarinagar on 21 August 2016. On 10 December 2016, the Rajarajeshwarinagar police arrested him and lodged a Pradesh FIR based on a complaint filed by Andhra. The victim came to Bengaluru to learn numerology from Aryavardhan, and he paid a fee of Rs 1.5 lakh on the condition that he would be refunded the entire amount if the course proved useless to him. Then, after finding the course ineffective, he demanded a refund. Aryavardhan refused to repay the amount. On August 21, the woman and her husband went to Aryavardhan’s flat in Rajarajeshwari Nagar to get a refund, where she was sexually assaulted by him. The woman filed the complaint three months later and Aryavardhan was arrested from Poompuhar in Tamil Nadu. The police have booked him under IPC Sections 354 (assault or criminal violence against a woman with intent to outrage her honour), 420 (cheating), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace).
