Arzoo Govitrikar is an Indian TV and film actress. She is the younger sister of Indian actress and model Aditi Govitrikar.

She married Indian businessman Siddharth Sabharwal on 16 March 2010 following a traditional Maharashtrian wedding ceremony. Their wedding was held at Shree Kripa Hall, Panvel in Navi Mumbai.

Their happy married life did not last long, and in 2019, Arzoo filed a domestic violence case against her husband, and in 2021, she filed for divorce.

Career
She started her career as a model and worked on various modeling assignments. In 2001, she got an offer to act in the Malayalam film ‘Kakkakuyil’ where she played the role of Radhika Menon/Revathy. She made her Telugu debut in the film ‘Manasutho’ (2002) as Sapana. In 2003, she appeared in the Hindi film ‘Baghban’ in a supporting role starring legendary Indian actors Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini.

She later played supporting roles in many Hindi films such as ‘Dreams’ (2005), ‘Tulsi’ (2008), ‘Mere Baap Pehle Aap’ (2008), and ‘Overtime’ (2012).

Apart from modeling and acting in films, she has also appeared in many Hindi TV serials. She made her debut in the Hindi TV series ‘Ek Ladki Anjaani Si’ where she played the role of Tulika Samarth, aired on Sony TV. From 2006 to 2008, he appeared in episodes of the TV show ‘CID.’ Arzoo played the role of Vanshika in Sahara One’s TV series ‘Ghar Ek Sapnaa’ (2007). In 2017, she acted in the popular TV series ‘Naagin 2.’

Controversy
She filed a domestic violence case against her husband on February 19, 2019, and in 2021, she decided to end her marriage and file for divorce. In an interview, while talking about filing for divorce, she said,
Enough is enough and I can’t take this lying down anymore. I swallowed my pride; I tried, and I tried my best. But things came to a head and I could not continue Siddharth. I have so far not spoken in the media, even when I was interrupted by a call from a journalist two years ago.”
He further talked about domestic violence,
I will speak today. I want to tell you that he has pulled me by my neck and tried to throw me out of the flat. He has slapped me. He had kicked me in my stomach. There are days I’m beaten black and blue and I can’t go out because I don’t want my bruises to show. Siddharth first raised his hand on me two years after our marriage. And after our son was born three years after we became husband and wife, he continued to separate.”
He added,
He started sleeping in another room. Afterwards, I found out that he had a Russian girlfriend; he always chatted with her. I confronted him about him. I don’t know if they are together now because he lives separately. Mind you, I have the chat and the CCTV footage of the violence and it will help me get justice.”
While the reporter, asked Siddharth about the whole situation, he said,
Let him say what he wants. I don’t want to say anything. He was the one who asked me to slap him saying he was training for a crime show. I will respond to these allegations in the proper forum.”
