In 1975, he made his acting debut with the Hindi film ‘Kaagaz Ki Nao.’
She played Mrs. Nivaran Sharma in the 1982 drama romance film ‘Do Dishayen’ starring Dharmendra and Hema Malini in the lead roles. He has worked in many Hindi films including ‘Insaaf Kaun Karega’ (1984), ‘Wohi Bhayanak Raat’ (1989), ‘Dil Apna Aur Preet Paraee’ (1993), ‘Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha’ (1998), ‘Kisna : The Warrior Poet’ (2005), ‘Nirahua Hindustani’ (2014), and ‘Adipurush’ (2023).

In 1986, she appeared as Girdhari Seth’s wife in DD National’s popular TV series ‘Nukkad.’ In 1987, he played the role of Janko in the DD National TV series ‘Buniyaad.’ She was cast to play a grandmother in Star One’s popular horror thriller TV series ‘Ssshhhh… Koi Hai’ in 2002. She has worked in many TV shows and series including Zee TV’s ‘Ek Aur Mahabharat’ (1997), StarPlus’ ‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya’ (2009), Star Bharat’s ‘Savdhaan India: Crime Alert’ (2012), and Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ (2019).
