Drunk Video Goes Viral
In 2023, a video of him went viral on social media where he was seen consuming alcohol and showing his middle finger. As soon as the video went viral, netizens started posting negative comments on the video. However, some sources say that the video was made for fun, while others claim that the video is a promotional video for one of his films.
Later, the director of one of his films clarified the rumors and shared an apology video for Ashika and said,
Ashika is not someone who would behave as shown in the video. This is an intense scene from our film, which has been taken out of context. He was so upset by the viral video that he refused to promote the film. Making the video public was a mistake by our marketing team. Someone has decided to use this sequence, which is part of the filming. If you notice, there are props shooting in the background. Having said that, I take full responsibility for this mistake. It shouldn’t happen. This should not be a personal attack on Ashika. Currently, people believe that this is a drunken tantrum by the actress because her acting is quite realistic. On behalf of the entire team, I sincerely apologize to Ashika.”
