Although the curvy supermodel who drew rave comments from fans about her beauty and body confidence wasn’t in the Greta Gerwig movie “Barbie” (why?), Mattel made a Barbie in her likeness in 2016.
Graham wanted this Barbie to have thick thighs and abs, rounded arms and cellulite and asked Mattel to do the same. She’s got it all, except for cellulite, probably because dimpled plastic is too much real life for this doll who lives her life in plastic. That said, the 35-year-old loves her Barbies, especially since Mattel doesn’t label her curvy or plus-size, she’s just a Barbie.
Graham admits that things have come a long, long way since he first came into the limelight at the age of 12. Back in my teens, there were no plus size models and instead on the curvy side most were labeled as “catalog models” that didn’t get a cover. Today, along with Graham, there are several models that stand out, be it for body shape, skin color, height and more.
Says Graham, “Now it’s becoming a habit to see people untouched, and to see bodies swaying, and to talk about the fact that being a certain size, it’s not the same as health. Those things are incredible, and I’m so grateful that the industry is finally catching up.”

Is Ashley Graham No Longer “Plus Size?”

Her latest pictures and videos in a pink dress have fans wondering, “Is she not plus size anymore?” Personally, this is a term that Graham hates. In 2021, Graham admitted that she didn’t want to be called a “plus size” model and said she hates constantly talking about her body.
However, what fans are pointing out is the obvious weight loss and slimmer silhouette that Graham may have taken on due to a new diet or fitness plan. Even so, with the Ozempic tsunami hitting the celebrity world, one fan asked what many were thinking directly, “Rumor has it you’re on Ozempic. Don’t deny it. Hear for yourself…”
Graham did not acknowledge any comment with an answer, although many of his fans asked what anyone’s business was whether he took Ozempic or not.
The same commenter, who asked the question, replied, “No [matter], however, if you preach left right, and center how much you love your body, every curve, every roll, even your cellulite. Why do you want to be thin?”
Another fan just wanted the secret, writing, “Always beautiful ?♥️ need a secret for your weight loss girl. I need something to give me the beautiful curves you have. God bless you”
Ozempic or not, if Graham is losing weight to feel better and healthier, more power to him, say his fans, especially since he identifies with Barbie!

Graham shared several photos and videos of her being a “Video Vixen” for singer Tori Kelly, who recently had health problems with blood clots. It looks like he’s on the mend and going strong and Graham is there for him. Wrote one fan, “I love how you guys always support each other and your careers, love your friendship…”
