At the age of 35, the famous model reflects on how the more inclusive range of Barbie dolls could have positively influenced her self-worth during her formative years.
During an interview with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the “Today” show, Graham candidly shared how not seeing a doll that looked like her made her feel different and question her appearance.
“If I had a Barbie that looked like my body shape growing up, I think my mind wouldn’t be traumatized,” Graham revealed emotionally, per Daily Mail. She vividly remembers staring into the mirror, comparing herself to an unrealistic Barbie figure, and wondering, “Why do I have this and she has that?”

She added, “I have loose skin on my stomach. I have cellulite all over my body. I have stretch marks everywhere, and that’s ok because my body is my body, and I’ve accepted it. I want little girls to know that.”
