Ashley Tisdale Shares Her ‘Mental Health Hack’

“High School Musical” actress Ashley Tisdale is a big advocate for mental health, and she’s now sharing one of her favorite “hacks.”

In a new Instagram post, Tisdale is seen playing with and hugging a goat, claiming it’s one of the best “mental health hacks.”

“Mental health hacker: hug the nearest baby goat,” she wrote alongside several photos and videos, one of which showed her laughing while holding a baby goat close to her chest.

Apparently cuddling a baby goat instantly boosts your mood and helps you smile, as goat therapy has actually been shown to help mental health.

“Goat Therapy is a form of animal-assisted therapy that comes in many forms such as mindfulness with goats, goat yoga, painting with goats, Tai Chi with goats, petting and brushing goats, and hugging goats,” according to the report.

In particular, hugging a goat has been shown to help individuals “with profound calmness, making one feel more relaxed, focused, and grounded. Hugging a goat is good medicine for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development.”
