In 2018, Ashu debuted with Telugu Film Chal Mohan Ranga. In 2021, he is shooting another Telugu movie titled #pk. He played the role of a doctor in the film. She turned heads when she danced as a side dancer in the song Oo Antava with Samantha Prabhu sung by Indravathi Chauhan from the movie Pushpa: The rise (2021).
Television
Ashu started his career by gaining popularity by posting lip-sync videos on social media platforms like Dubsmash, Josh, and Instagram. In 2019, she then entered the Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 house as a contestant.
Although short-lived, his Bigg Boss journey paved the way to popularity. His social media handle saw a huge increase in the number of followers. He was evicted from the show in the fifth week. Later, she joined Star Maa’s version of Jabardasth, called Bintang Komedi, as a contestant. He then grabbed the opportunity to host a game show with Anchor Ravi, titled The Happy Days. In an interview, he said,
Well, I knew hosting would come to me but not this soon. It was very unplanned.”
Looking back on her Bigg Boss journey, in an interview, she said,
If I go to the BB house again, I want to be more active and focus on entertaining the audience.”
He added,
Back then, I was on a different tangent. I’m still trying to get over the breakup and not knowing where I am or what I’m doing. I don’t know who either. Nor am I in a position to give anyone that scope to approach or take any chances. But now, I have been working here for some time and I would know what it is. I’ll try to be the chatterbox that I am (laughs). Basically, try not to get into that emotional zone and do your best to entertain me.. if at all I will go to Bigg Boss (laughs).”
He entered the OTT Telugu house Bigg Boss as a contestant in 2022.

In 2021, Ashu made headlines with her daring interview with Ram Gopal Varma where she was seen discussing sex, porn and personal life on camera. The bold and quirky interview moved the Telugu industry. At the beginning of the interview, he slapped RGV for making inappropriate remarks. After the interview, Ashu also posted a video on his YouTube channel where he revealed 9 bold reasons why he loves RGV.

When Pawan tested positive for Covid-19, he posted a picture of a handwritten letter in which he wished him a speedy recovery.
