ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo Leads The February Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Index

ASTRO’s internationally adored heartthrob Cha Eun-woo has topped the latest edition of the Brand Reputation Index for individual members of K-Pop boy groups. The Korea Business Research Institute revealed the February edition of the index, which monitors and rates the popularity of male K-Pop celebrities over a four-week period, on February 19, 2023.

The Korea Business Research Institute publishes monthly brand reputation rankings for male and female K-pop groups, individual idols, K-pop soloists, variety stars and general variety shows. From January 18 to February 18, 2023, the Korea Business Research Institute examined 117,196,162 brand big data points from 703 K-pop boy group members to identify the most popular K-pop boy group members for the month of February.

The big data of K-Pop boy group members has increased by 2.69 percent since January when it totaled 114,130,418 records. This ranking is based on an examination of user engagement criteria, media coverage, communication and community awareness.

BTS’s Jimin and EXO’s Baekhyung are joined at the top of February’s Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Index by ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo.

ASTRO’s brilliant singer Cha Eun-woo soars above other K-Pop stars. My ID star, Gangnam Beauty, has a great brand reputation score of 6,171,832. After starting the year with a score of 51596515.52, the artist’s popularity increased by 9.36% in February.

“Island exhibition, Dior and photo” were the top three keywords for Cha Eun-woo in the keyword survey. “appear,” “let go,” and “hold” are the most important linked terms in Eun-link woo’s analysis. In addition, according to the positive-negativity analysis, the idol/actor has a positive rating of 83.50 percent.

Following ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo is one of the world’s best K-Pop artists, BTS’s Jimin. Jimin’s brand reputation index is 6,121,650. Despite being eliminated as one of the most popular musicians in the latest edition, the Serendipity artist’s popularity has increased by 7.15% since January, when his brand reputation score was 5,713,172.

EXO’s Baekhyun took third place. Over the past month, Baekhyun’s popularity has skyrocketed. The idol brand’s reputation score jumped by 131.07% in February, from 1297157.58 in January to 4,174,952. Wanna One’s Kang Daniel remains at number four with a brand reputation score of 4,102,572. Finally, K-Pop’s Golden Maknae, BTS’s Jungkook, rounds out the top five. The brand reputation index for Jungkook is 3,753,544.
