At least two people died after a small plane crashed on a Florida highway and caught fire on Friday, officials said.
The Bombardier Challenger 600 jet crashed on Interstate 75 near Naples around 3:15 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration said.
Two deaths have been confirmed, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.
Five people were on board the plane, the FAA said.
At least two vehicles were also involved, the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed.
The plane was en route from Ohio to Naples and came down after reporting engine failure, the Naples Airport told WBBH.

Videos featured in social media shows the plane burst into flames in the middle of the southbound runway, billowing black smoke as the driver stopped to look on.
The plane left Columbus shortly after 1 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive at Naples airport at 3:21 p.m., flight data showed.
All southbound lanes were closed near mile marker 105, police said said.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will lead the investigation into the fatal crash.
The affluent enclave of Naples is home to a $295 million compound that is the most expensive property for sale in the US.
