Australian bounce house company denies business to Jewish school: ‘Zionist school’s blood money’

Western Sydney Jump, a Sydney-based company that rents jumping castles, has come under fire for refusing to provide outdoor play to Jewish schools in Sydney.

The company’s response, laden with hostility, included an email to the principal of Masada College stating: “There is no way I would accept a Zionist order. I don’t want your blood money. Free Palestine.”

The controversial exchange took place on Tuesday when Masada College contacted Western Sydney Jump for a quote on some outdoor games for an upcoming school function.

Instead of a professional response, the school received a rejection laced with political sentiment.

The company later posted the email exchange on its Instagram page, @westernsydneyjump, drawing attention and criticism.

The now-removed post was widely circulated.

“I have owned my business for ten years. I have the right to refuse any order,” insisted the owner of the company in an Instagram post, defending their discriminatory attitude.

The post also featured pictures of two women allegedly linked to Masada College, one wearing a sweatshirt with the word “Zioness” emblazoned on it.

The caption reads: “They are Loud and Proud Zionists.”

Continuing the inflammatory narrative, the post featured a photo of a school teacher holding roses with a group of year 2 students, poking fun at the school’s “world kindness day” celebration.

The caption read: “Yesterday the same Zionist school celebrated ‘world kindness day’ LOL LOL LOL.”

Attempting to clarify the controversy, the post stated, “Just to be clear, this is about Zionists. Not Jewish. I have no problem with the Jewish community.”

He went on to express surprise at the double standard attitude in reaction to Palestinian and Zionist sentiments.

The incident has sparked widespread condemnation.

New South Wales Premier Chris Minns told The Daily Telegraph in response: “This is outrageous. It does not align with any part of our multicultural society. I condemn it completely.”

Bradfield MP Paul Fletcher, the school’s local member, added: “Racism has no place in our country, and this behavior should be condemned.”

Speaking to The Australian, David Ossip, president of the Board of Jewish Deputies of NSW, labeled the company’s response disgusting.

“Posting pictures of six- and seven-year-old children on social media and mocking them as Zionists is very mean and disturbing,” he said.

“He emphasized that the children involved were Australians, not participants in any foreign conflict, and accused the company of trying to dehumanize Jews.”

News.com.au has made attempts to contact Western Sydney Jump.

The business appears to have removed itself from social media.
