Authorities Continue To Investigate Ian Ziering Incident On Vandalism Charges

The law continues to favor Ian Ziering, with zero charges against him following his viral fight on New Year’s Eve.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” star made headlines a few days ago for bravely defending herself from a biker gang. Although both sides blame each other for the incident, the police are more interested in the damage than who started the fight.

Authorities Can Book One Cyclist For Damaging Ian Ziering’s Car

The fight between Ziering and the biker gang is being investigated as a potential case of criminal vandalism. Authorities are now focused on charging at least one of the motorcyclists for damaging the actor’s car.

Video from the incident captured one of the motorcyclists using his helmet to smash Ziering’s windshield. However, new video from the fight also shows the victim who allegedly started the fight by pushing one of the motorcyclists.

This video shows the fight could be considered a joint battle in the eyes of the law. Had that been the case, the case might have proceeded without battery charges, especially since none of the riders had filed a police report against Ziering.

Another reason biker gangs need to share their stories with the authorities is because of their mini motorcycles. It is illegal to ride this vehicle on public roads or highways. But no charge was made for their allegedly unauthorized motorbikes.

Meanwhile, if a potential criminal vandalism case is presented, the LA District Attorney can add battery charges if they believe there is evidence to support this claim. On the part of the biker gang, they remain adamant that they did not start the fight.

Two men riding with the 605 Minibike Gang told TMZ that Ziering started the viral New Year’s Eve brawl, not their crew. A video shared by fans seems to support this claim as it shows the TV personality confronting the biker.

To the tune of Kate Earl’s “All That Glitters,” the footage begins just as Ziering hits one of the bikers with a punch to the face. The action led to other bikers – who were wearing blue hoodies and black helmets – trying to hit him with their bikes.

As other motorcyclists began surrounding the father of two to get their own photos, Ziering ran across the road. As he sped away, he continued to engage in a physical altercation with the motorcyclist who remained on his tail.

The fight naturally excited fans, with many praising the 59-year-old for single-handedly defeating the biker gang. “They can’t fight back or have the b— to take off their helmets. They are all cowards,” said one, with another writing:

“Again, the man in the blue sweater wanted to use an extra helmet to attack him after hitting him with a bicycle. Trashy coward.”

“He singlehandedly ran away from them throwing them all to the ground, lol,” a third chimed in. Ziering also received praise from his old friends for his exceptional fighting skills.

Days after the New Year’s Eve brawl, Ziering was hailed as a “Beast” by one of his “Beverly Hills, 90210” co-stars, Brian Austin Green. The actor spoke about the fight in an Instagram Story video, talking about how proud he was of his old friend.

“Hey, so I didn’t get a chance to get involved at all. My boy Ian Ziering was punching on Hollywood Boulevard with like five guys, and I was like beating them, doing it, doing his job,” Green began before showering Ziering with praise. In his words:

“He’s a monster. He’s very fit, obviously. I wouldn’t suggest to anyone to fight people, especially not now in this climate. But, you know what? Everything is going well. Z, I love you, brother, you beast; good for you.”

While fans and Green praised Ziering for defeating the biker gang, the actor did not share the same sentiments about the incident. In his recollection of the viral fight, the 59-year-old bemoaned the poor conditions of the streets and called on authorities to crack down on violence.

“I am relieved to report that my daughter and I were both unhurt, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing audacity of such groups who disturb public safety and peace,” he said, adding:

“This situation highlights the larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for an effective law enforcement response to such behavior.”

“As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from the authorities seems inadequate,” Ziering continued, pleading with law enforcement law to do better against groups that violate this law.
