Avinash always wanted to be an actor but according to him, work always kept him busy. Through gym buddies, Avinash met Indian actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, who mentored Avinash about the film industry. Before auditioning, Avinash went through acting workshops and basic confidence building. In 2018, he appeared in the movie, KGF Chapter1, as Andrew. The film released with the record of highest gross collection with a domestic collection of approximately 186 crores. KGF1 was also the first Kannada film to touch 150 crores, 200 crores and 250 crores worldwide gross.
