“It’s really exhausting,” Crawley told newsreaders regarding his health scare. The former “Bachelor” host admitted it took years before she was diagnosed, which “took a toll on my life, on my relationships, on my family, on my social life.”

The former “Bachelor” alum admitted that being in the public eye caused her to experience “insecurities” about her body, specifically her breast size.
“I originally didn’t have breast augmentation when I was first on television, on ‘The Bachelor,’ and I was surrounded by beautiful women,” Crawley told ABC. “Having small breasts at the time, for me, made me feel like I wasn’t feminine, and it created a huge insecurity in me.”
While Crawley loved having the implant at first, things quickly changed as she admits she soon felt uncomfortable.
“I loved it at first but it affected me in reverse almost to the point where I started wearing sports bras all the time,” she says. “I started covering up more because they felt like it wasn’t my body, obviously they weren’t, but it felt really big.”

The 41-year-old man then began to develop a rash all over his body. He went to several different doctors several times each month to try and get a diagnosis, which continued for eight years, with more health problems emerging.
“I was diagnosed with everything possible except breast implant disease because that wasn’t a problem back then,” she said. “And I actually asked my doctor, ‘Okay [my implants] cause this? This is the only thing going on in my body.’”
After doing some research on her own, and concluding that she had “breast implant disease”, she found a doctor who specialized in breast explant surgery. After seeing a specialist, she realized she wasn’t the only one with health problems from breast implants.
“I think you take them out because you don’t like them anymore,” Crawley said. “Or you removed it because you changed it to a different pair.”
In July 2021, Crawley underwent breast explant surgery and immediately felt better, physically and mentally. “I can take the deepest and freshest breath,” he said. “It’s not only good physically, I feel amazing … I feel like my body is like, ‘Ah, thank you.’”
