Connor ‘The Cat’ Brennan is a long way from his ‘Bachelor’ days!
Brennan was introduced to Bachelor Nation in 2021 when he pursued Katie Thurston. She memorably walked into the Bachelor mansion dressed as a cat. Brennan would later make an appearance on the beach on “Bachelor In Paradise.”
The Bachelor Country alum is now a medical physicist living in DC, and she’s getting ready to add ‘musician’ to her resume!
Brennan revealed to her Instagram followers on Tuesday that she is two weeks away from releasing her first pop single!
‘Connor B’ isn’t keeping quiet about his first foray into ‘popdom.’ The former reality star has been updating her Instagram followers on the status of the new song throughout its creation!
Brennan Was A Musician Before ‘The Bachelor’
Bachelor Nation may remember Brennan’s love of the ukelele and his penchant for singing original compositions.
Being a musician isn’t just a gimmick Brennan pulled for TV: she was a musician long before stepping into the Bachelor mansion!
Brennan has showcased her love of music all over her Instagram feed, posting covers and photos of performances across the country.
She recently posted a cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s latest single, “Vampire.”
Brennan has also shown fans some behind-the-scenes footage of her first pop single, “august!”
Three weeks ago he posted a clip showing himself listening to the final mix of the song. Brennan stuck to the single and lip-synced along with the lyrics, which she included as captions. In the caption of the reel, he wrote, “rainy days are for sad pop!!!!”
She also wrote on the roll, “Just got the master of my first pop single and I could cry.”
Brennan was shocked by what they heard!
One fan commented, “this sounds good. Sounds like a Niall Horan vibe.”
Another wrote, “That pop production ?! Sounds good, get em bud”

In Brennan’s latest Instagram post, (featuring her mom honing her photobomb skills) she revealed fans can now pre-save the new single at the link in her bio!
The Bachelor Nation alum may not have won Thurston’s heart, but the two are on good terms these days! Thurston, who has transitioned his career from being a reality TV star to doing stand-up comedy, recently posted a clip of Brennan grilling him during one of his recent stand-up shows.
Brennan brought in his trusty ukelele to film a virtual roast for his ex. At one point he sings, “It’s been a while, at least a few years, since you dumped my a** on national TV.”
She continued the ‘Bachelor’-themed joke, singing, “At least I’m not fake engaged,” before stopping her song to ask “How’s Blake? Or is it John or Greg?” Thurston was briefly engaged to Blake Moynes before beginning a brief relationship with John Hersey. She almost got engaged to Greg Grippo, but the two’s breakup was filmed for the show. Grippo is currently dating “Bachelor In Paradise” alum Victoria Fuller.
Brennan also joked about Thurston’s famous “12 Messy Days” series of Instagram stories where Thurston counts down the seconds while mocking each of his contestants. The series was reportedly intended to be a countdown to Taylor Swift’s newly released “Red (Taylor’s Version),” but it received pushback from the men on its season.
