Zach Shallcross’ season of “The Bachelor” is coming to an end, but the ‘drama-o-meter’ has been rising in recent weeks.
The 26-year-old ‘Bachelor’ is adamant in her attempts to destroy the drama, but on Monday night’s episode, the drama escalated to rollercoaster levels!
Shallcross’ history with the franchise’s fantasy suite week has been rocky: He and ‘Bachelor’ Rachel Recchia had difficulty communicating during their chances to get spicy, and on her own ‘Bachelor’ season, she decided to cut down on any possibility of producing hot, hot hot on fantasy suite.

Shallcross will soon break his rules during his meeting with Gabi Elnicki.
Their fight follows Shallcross’s fantasy suite date with Ariel Frenkel. Frenkel and Shallcross’ relationship is fun and easy, with Shallcross often mentioning the easy nature of their relationship.
The guilt that Shallcross will have for breaking his promise will consume him and affect his night with Kaity Biggar. Relations between the final three women and Shallcross appeared to cool during the subsequent rose ceremony, where Frenkel was eliminated.
Before we get into Bachelor Nation’s whirlwind of reactions, let’s take a closer look at Shallcross’ decision not to be frisky during his fantasy suite week.
In Shallcross Decision To Keep Fantasy Week Rated PG-13

We previously looked at Shallcross’ decision to focus on ‘late night talk’ during fantasy suite week.
From last week’s promo for the fantasy suite episode, Bachelor Nation was given the impression that Shallcross might be going back on his decision. She gave Us Weekly some insight into her decision during the “Women Tell All” taping.
“From what I can say is – a lot of things change and go into that week, I think I can set it up, like, guidelines for myself and guidelines for other people to try and make it less messy and it bites us. in a**,” Shallcross told the publication.
The central face of Bachelor Nation Jesse Palmer also weighed in on The Bachelor’s decision.
“Zach put some parameters around the fantasy suite that he thought would help him make a decision at the end of the day,” Palmer said. “So Zach decided that he wasn’t going to sleep with any of those three women, that he was going to focus on other ways and means of moving his relationship forward, but things didn’t work out that way.”
Bachelor Nation Feels About Frenkel’s Elimination
“Things” certainly don’t go “that way.”
The women who captured Shallcross’s heart all had their reactions to his confession- he had decided to tell Elnicki that he would consent to their fight to another woman- with Frenkel’s reaction not shown on camera.
Frenkel’s face remained neutral during his elimination at the rose ceremony, but Bachelor Nation’s reaction was anything but!
In an Instagram reel (also posted on TikTok) of their hometown date in NYC that Frenkel posted, fans showered Frenkel with their thoughts!
“ARIEL I WANT YOU TO BE THE ‘BACHELOR’ NOW!! YOU ARE CLASSY SO SEXY SO SMART!!,” one passionate fan commented on the reel. “WOW!! HOPE THEY MAKE TWO SEASONS SO YOU CAN GET THE NEXT ONE!! I’ll pay top dollar for that!!”
“In my opinion, I think you deserve to find someone amazing,” one Bachelor Nation member said. “You are funny, mysterious and interesting. You are also very beautiful. You deserve to find someone who will see all the good in you, choose you and only you. Good luck in your future endeavors.”
“My favorite contestant ever to be on the show,” commented one fan. “You are too good for him. Your family is spot on! When your brother said, why does he have to choose you?! Epic! Hope you’re the next bachelor but maybe we’ll see you in heaven.”
Another Bachelor Nation fan shared their different wishes for Frenkel.
“I really hope not to see you on Bachelor In Paradise,” they wrote. “simply because you are of a higher caliber than what the show can offer. You are above this show and guys like Zach. Hope you find your match soon [heart emoji] One of my geace [sic] this show”
“She lost a villain tn frfr,” another fan chimed in.
“Fumble of the century,” said one fan.
“I felt so seen during your part in the hometown episode coming from an eastern European Jewish family. After ox tongue, it’s only a matter of time before Zach eats drankini and pelmeni,” another fan told Frenkel.
