Allio, who was first introduced to Bachelor Nation during Katie Thurston’s season of “The Bachelorette,” and later appeared on “Bachelor In Paradise,” is no stranger to sharing her life with her followers in a vulnerable way.

Bachelor Nation fell in love with Allio’s heartbreaking story of losing his wife, who is the mother of Allio’s son James, to breast cancer in 2019. The couple had been married for a decade before Laura’s passing.

Allio continues to share James’ life with his Instagram followers. On Tuesday evening, the “Bachelor In Heaven” posted a cute Instagram carousel of James’ last days in Kindergarten and his graduation.

Before we delve into James’ journey to first grade, let’s take a look back at his dad’s heartfelt note to James’ mom.

The Blast looks at Allio’s compliment to Laura, where he touches on the many forms of love that exist, and the very “confusing” aspects that can come with grief.

In a multi-paragraph post, he also touches on the great loss we can feel when we lose an irreparable component of ourselves, and a reminder to be aware of and look for the ‘precious’ moments in our lives.

“Laura is and always will be a part of me…” Allio wrote. “Just as he will be among the many others who have the privilege of contacting his friend. Like so many others, when he left, we lost an irreplaceable part of ourselves. A protected piece of land that will now and forever be reserved for you. This does not mean that one cannot find happiness or love again, but only shows that there is something [sic] in a life that is holy and not ours to give…” he wrote in the second paragraph.

Sharing And Opening His Heart Doesn’t Always Work For ‘BiP’ AlumsSierra Jackson and Michael Allio on Bachelor In Paradise

Allio’s time in “Bachelor In Paradise” is finally successful as he finds love between the sand and the waves. He began dating Danielle Maltby, and the couple is still together today.

However, his journey to ‘heaven’ was not always a rosy-filled experience. He and fellow contestant Sierra Jackson discussed Aillo’s life as a single father and Laura. Jackson reportedly believed his and Allio’s relationship had been strengthened by this conversation, but Allio actually felt quite differently about their relationship; she broke up with Jackson that same night. Jackson didn’t give up on sharing his feelings with Bachelor Nation, as he live-streamed his feelings.

“I feel a little disrespected,” he tweeted, referring to Allio’s seemingly quick relationship with Allio. “I’m going to go meditate.”

Allio would later talk about the split and after Maltby was criticized for his dating history on Bachelor Nation.

The pair will also come under fire for allegedly communicating with each other before heading to the beach.

“Choosing to end my only relationship when I was blessed with a constellation and didn’t have a single rose was not a ‘good look,’ but I know that,” he said in the aforementioned TikTok.

Speaking about her breakup with Jackson, she would say, “I still should have handled the breakup better. That’s me.”

Allio continued, “At six years old, my roommate has been through more than most people. We have our struggles like everyone else… but I am amazed at how close it has brought us together and how positive his perspective and outlook on life is. It’s beautiful.”

“Sometimes it feels like we’re in such a rush to get to the next place that we fail to appreciate the beauty of the present,” said the Bachelor Nation alumna, “Today is one of those beautiful days and I’m soaking it all in. Thankful. Thankful. Proud. Congratulations to all the graduates,” he concluded.
