It’s debatable how much ‘reality’ is shown on reality TV, but many reality TV stars keep it real behind the scenes!
Bachelor Nation’s Tia Booth recently became a first-time mom, and now the ‘Bachelor’ alum is keeping it up on Instagram. The “Bachelor In Paradise” star has been keeping her content completely transparent lately, and it doesn’t look like she’s slowing down anytime soon.
Earlier this week we shared Booth’s documentation of the messages he received after some followers criticized his choice to temporarily enlist a nurse to help care for his baby at night. Booth and her fiancé welcomed their first child on December 6.
Booth continues to keep it up on social media by being open about her feelings about postpartum body image.
Read on to see how Booth is keeping it 100% when it comes to the new reality of motherhood!
Some of Booth’s Followers Have Something to Say About One of His Personal Parenting Decisions
One of Booth’s followers took to his DMs following the news that Booth and fiancée Taylor Mock had hired a night nurse. Booth will share a screenshot of his exchange with followers on his Instagram story.
“Not trying to be mean,” the follower began their DM, “but having kids means taking responsibility and bonding with your babies in the middle of the night when they wake up. Not hiring someone to do it for you so you can ‘sleep,'” they concluded.
Booth replied, “Like I said, it’s a luxury to have help a few nights a week. Thank you for your opinion.”
He will continue to provide more information about the exchange.
“Got 3 more not so friendly. It’s a temporary service that really helps us as first-time parents. I have learned so much from this nurse and will never look back and think o**n I wish I would have slept less on the nights we got help?! I will be a better mom during the day when I can THINK & know my baby is so loved & cared for the night before. I have no family here. So does Taylor. This is our help a few nights a week! A reminder to keep this to myself,” he concluded.
Some of Booth’s followers would continue to reference the situation in the comments section of the Instagram post, which appears to have been deleted.
“Not followed. The lack of recognition and privilege when complaining and having a NIGHT NURSE is deafening,” said a former follower. “If he had recognized his privilege while discussing the hundreds and thousands of dollars he had put into privileged items, it would have been different.”

On Friday, Booth continued to use her platform to bring attention to another reality she faces as a new mom in the spotlight. She took to her Instagram story to share several photos in which she hugged her son, used to promote the brand deal.
After sharing the photo, Booth candidly detailed some of her thoughts regarding her personal struggles with postpartum body image.

Booth wrote, “Full transparency, I hate how I look in 90% of the pictures we take. I’m pretty good at showing off my body in the mirror for outfit shots, but seeing my new body unanchored really bothers me,” she continued. “I know I just gave birth. I know. But it’s a journey of seeing a very different body than what you’re used to. I guess my point in sharing is that if you feel this way too, you are not alone!!! Whether you have a baby or not. I’m excited to slowly start working out again, not only for my physical health but my mental health!” Booth concluded.
His message seems to resonate with his followers! After posting a set of photos featuring similar images on his profile grid, some of Booth’s followers referenced his discussion in the comments section.
“You’re a new mom,” one follower wrote, “don’t worry about exercise!- It’s a transition period. Slow down the car ok!!!!”
“Ma’am, please give yourself some grace,” another follower advised Booth, “You really just had a baby. I know what you’re going through [sic] bc they are workout sets but you are beautiful and your body is amazing. You’re great!”
“If you want to exercise, exercise [sic]! But if you want to relax, unwind, and spend time with Tatum, d[o] that! You can wear yoga pants either!” another follower commented.
“Girl take it easy! No need to rush to heal or change your body from the biggest thing it has ever or will ever do!,” another follower advised Booth.
“No. Always be comfortable and love the baby,” said another.
