“I left corporate [life] originally in 2020,” Evans wrote in his blog post, “and my business failed because there wasn’t a single wedding that year. So 2021 is my first year running my business with real weddings. When I left to go on the show,” he continued, “I only had enough money in my checking account to pay all my bills if I went through the whole filming process.”

Evans went on to reveal his feelings about the alarming risks.

“Leaving for two months to film a TV show without pay is certainly scary as a first-year business owner but I never turn down an adventure,” Evans detailed of his costly risk.

“I can’t begin to tell you how exciting it was to find new inspiration and faith in myself to pursue video and photography in a way I had never seen myself before,” he also wrote. “Until I decided that in January 2023, I would move to LA and try to make it something bigger than it already is. I decided I was going to move months ago but after my breakup with Clayton, I felt it would be best for me personally to stay with my family over the holidays in Virginia and give myself a fresh start in January 2023 in a new city with new goals,” she revealed.
