Newly engaged ‘Bachelor’ couple Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar are down to business!
Shallcross has a few hurdles to overcome before Bachelor Nation sees his proposal on the season finale of “The Bachelor.” First, he addresses the fallout from his self-imposed sex ban during fantasy suite week and some rumblings about the longevity of their relationship.
The Bachelor Nation was rocked t weeks before the three-hour season finale.
“Chicks In The Office” Barstool Sports podcast host, Maria ‘Ria’ Ciuffo, revealed to Bachelor devotees that she’s been pouring hot tea to spill! Ciuffo and his co-host Francesca ‘Fran’ Mariano are known for being pretty strict with Bachelor Nation. Countless members of the franchise have appeared on “Chicks In The Office” over the years, so it stands to reason that fans would take Ciuffo’s words with a little more than a grain of salt, right?
Two days after Shallcross and Biggar’s engagement was revealed in the season finale, the two have come on the podcast to address Ciuffo’s big spoiler.

Last week, Ciuffo announced that he had some big Bachelor Nation news stashed away in his back pocket.
She took to Twitter with a short video posted to the official “Chicks In The Office” Twitter account last Friday.
“It’s about time… I’ll reveal the tea I heard,” Ciuffo said. “If you don’t want to know, don’t watch this video. But I know many of you are curious, so I must make the video. We weren’t going to the finals, so I thought, ‘why not tell everyone what I heard?’ he continued.
Ciuffo continued, “Apparently, after Zach got engaged to one of the girls, who I believe was Kaity, the engagement ended, and he’s now with Jess…”
Jess Girod burst onto the scene at the start of the season, struggling to cement his relationship with Shallcross. He was eliminated after expressing his frustration at not receiving a one-on-one date. (via Bachelor Nation)
After clearing Girod, Ciuffo revealed the former contestant “recently posted a clip” featuring Shallcross at the ‘Women Tell All’ taping.
Ciuffo’s information understandably sent shockwaves throughout Bachelor Nation over the next few days. Entertainment journalist, Zachary Reality, shared that he believed the matter was a bit of a hoax.
“This is really hard to believe, and I don’t believe it at all,” he said. Zachary Reality also has a good relationship with Bachelor Nation insiders, as he regularly posts content featuring several celebrities, and has featured Bachelor Nation guests on his podcast.
What Do Happy Couples Say?
Shallcross and Biggar stopped by Barstool Sports to appear on Wednesday’s episode of “Chicks In The Office,” and both were indeed asked about the Ciuffo rumors; The “Chicks In The Office” crew had a big laugh on social media during the finale, and Ciuffo played up his ‘clown act’.

The happy couple shared a laugh with Mariano during the episode’s intro, as Ciuffo was absent from the table!
“You know the elephant in the room is that Ria is not here,” Mariano told the couple.
“We noticed,” Shallcross smiled.
Later in the episode, Mariano plays the future Shallcrosses, a video message from Ciuffo, who is ill. Mariano insisted that his co-host would not intentionally miss an interview for any reason, at the beginning of the episode.
The happy couple giggled as Ciuffo apologized for the whole kurfuffle.
“I want to say ‘I’m sorry,'” he said. “for spreading rumors that I heard I thought might be true. I was so excited, I thought ‘Oh my god, someone trusts me with this information, just me.’ And uh, I’m kind of excited,” continued Ciuffo.
“I’m sorry if I caused you chaos, I’m sorry for causing chaos to Bachelor Nation,” he continued before apologizing twice.
Both declared Ciuffo’s clip to be “sweet!”
“I appreciate him actually making a video and apologizing,” Shallcross said. “There was a lot of crazy stuff going on and people had all these conspiracies and this and that, but he admitted it so I appreciate that,” he continued.
Looks like the “Chicks In The Office” crew will always have a ‘bar stool’ for Mr and Mrs Shallcross in the future!
