‘Bachelorette’ Alum Josh Seiter’s Ex Claims He Faked His Own Death Hoax

Former “Bachelor” contestant Josh Seiter took to Instagram yesterday to confirm that he is “alive and well” after an alleged hacker posted a statement on his social media account claiming he had died.

While no cause of death has been identified in the now-deleted statement, the reality star has been candid with her followers about her struggles with depression and past suicide attempts. Even so, it seems a hacker took advantage of his mental health struggles to create a fake death hoax, at least according to Josh.

Unfortunately, Josh’s old ex – “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Monica Beverly Hillz – has now spoken out, claiming that Josh may have planned his own death hoax.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Monica Beverly Hillz can’t believe that Josh actually lost his Instagram account to hackers. Instead, he believes that he planned his own fake death hoax to try to revive his career. On Tuesday night, Monica told Entertainment Weekly that she was “bewildered” by Josh’s account of what had happened, adding, “I’m angry. I’m glad he’s alive. I’m glad he’s here, but this really upsets me.”

He explained that the two met around 2013 when he was doing drag and she was a go-go dancer. “We’re out of touch, but I’ll comment on her stuff because she’s beautiful, she’s disgusting, of course I’ll sneak into the DMs,” he said. “I’ll put a heart on his stuff, he’ll put a heart on mine.”

Ironically, Monica claims that Josh contacted her only this month because he saw that she had unfollowed them. Monica claims that she unfollowed him “a long time ago” because she was also the victim of a hacking scandal years ago. The two started talking and became “official” after their second date, using social media to make their relationship public.

When the interviewer pointed out that the time period she was talking about was only two weeks ago, Monica replied, “I’m already weak because I Googled him and I saw all the negative press about him. For me, the internet is the internet, than social media, I know better, don’t believe everything you read.”

After receiving repeated comments that Josh was an “influencer”, she addressed the comments with him directly. “When I hear a comment, I will ask him. He would tell me that he would plant the story himself,” she explained, adding that the two did not officially break up until August 22.

“ That Monday, we didn’t talk at all… I woke up on Tuesday to say this: ‘Hey hun, I’m sorry, but I’m not good. My grandfather died this morning in his sleep. Heading to the airport right now, my life is a mess, and I can’t give you the time and dedication you deserve. Let’s stay friends. Thank you for being great,’” she recalled, saying that was what she sent in a text message on Tuesday, August 22, which was the last time she spoke to him.

She said she then blocked him on Instagram and learned of his death “just like everyone else.” He went on to say, if he was really hacked, he should have contacted her. “You’re dating me, if s— you get hacked, you should call me, the first one… He knows me enough that I know I’m going to pick up the phone, because I’m friends with all my exes,” she explained.

“He had my number, to call me and say, ‘Hey, I need your help, you can put out a statement saying my stuff was hacked.’ He doesn’t do s—, sit back, and attack everyone who’s freaking out and going through something. It hurts in the head,” he added.

He went on to say that Josh knew the media attention he received about his death but waiting a full day to release a statement announcing his death was a sham. “He saw all of this and knew it was out of control… I’m here crying, I’m not sleeping, crying every two minutes thinking about this happening, and the whole time, this guy is still alive for ups and downs. all of this-.”

Josh Slams Monica’s ‘Ridiculous Allegation’ That She Created Her Own Death Hoax

Josh responded to her claim that she faked her own death, calling it a “ridiculous accusation” that had no basis in truth. “Those are all ridiculous accusations made by someone with no connection to their time,” he said in an email to the outlet on Tuesday.

“As a mental health advocate, the issue of suicide is very sensitive for me. To suggest that I would organize a death post around that issue is sickening,” he continued. “I have dedicated the last 8 years of my life to blogging and raising awareness about mental health, and I will continue to do so. It doesn’t matter what my critics say.”
