The 26-year-old recently appeared on the “Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe” podcast, where the “Bachelorette” leader opened up about many topics, including her ex, Tino Franco. Speaking to host Kaitlyn Bristowe, Rachel seemed disappointed that none of her other men voiced concerns about Tino during the filming of the reality show.

“It’s really hard because it’s like I don’t want to talk bad, but there are so many things that I see, and I’m like, ‘Why isn’t anyone coming to me?'” she said.

“No one thought to bring me anything, and I understand. There is a stigma about being an apologist or [ratting] out people, but I think there’s a time when it gets to that point,” continued Rachel. “When people start pulling away because of it, bring that up to me. And no one does.”

Rachel continued, “I can’t blame them. I totally understand why they don’t want to; I am dealing with something similar on [Clayton Echard]season. I understand. It’s just hard… I’m not involved in any drama, but there’s a point where there’s no other choice, really.”

Ignoring Red Flags

Weeks after “The Bachelorette” officially ended, the 19th season co-host admitted he saw red flags with Tino. “And then to see some of the things he would say in his interviews and treat it like a game — or just look back at me saying how I feel to him and his reaction was, like, nothing behind his eyes,” she told Kaitlyn Bristowe.

Although, he sees the red flags now, during the filming, the signs are not visible to him because he is blinded by love. “It’s just at the moment, you don’t see it because you’re in love! And then you watch it back and you’re like, ‘Oh my.’ It was like, ‘Wow.’ Some of the things I saw were very hard to watch. It was horrible,” Rachel explained.

Does Rachel Need Closure From Tino?

Things didn’t end well between the two, as during the live finale of “The Bachelor”, Tino ended up going on stage to talk to Rachel again, which Rachel still wasn’t happy about.

“Rachel, I’m sorry,” he began as soon as he sat down on the couch. “My actions rest on me and I own them completely. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize for what I did. I’m sorry that it took me so long to tell you, and I’m sorry that the meeting came off as if I was trying to place any responsibility for what I did on you.”

He went on to say how much he wished “everyone could really see the love story that we’ve had,” but ended up bringing the ring back. “When we start letting our conversation slip into ‘I can’t love you anymore,’ and you say you don’t want to wear that ring…”

Rachel immediately interrupted, “You want to go in there? We are going through a very difficult time and it is very personal to both of us. And I think neither of us want to explain why that happened, but we can. Do you want to talk about it?”

More back-and-forth ensues, but in the end the two end up roughing it and getting nowhere. And no matter how things end, Rachel admits she doesn’t need closure from Tino or the relationship. “With Tino, the moment I found out what he did, I was like, ‘I don’t need closure.’ I just want to know – I need to know – what happened. I didn’t know my show was moving forward,” Rachel explained on the podcast.

“After our talk, I was like, ‘I don’t need anything else to move forward, because if someone can treat me like that… sit down and tell me that I’m the reason he did that, I don’t need anything . other than him,” Rachel concluded.
