Abasolo shared a statement on his Instagram page after we broke the news of his divorce from Rachel Lindsay. The former couple were married since August 2019. However, they separated on December 31, 2023.
In his post, Abasolo stated that the decision to file for divorce was “difficult” and asked for privacy during this period.
She said, “If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I don’t like to put my personal stuff on social media and like to keep a safe space for our family. Many of you know me as a chiropractor, and also as a husband, my proudest role to date. After over 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to separate and start over.”
“My parents have been married forever and I’m a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you have to let go,” Abasolo continued. “I want you to hear it from the source before the blogs start creating their own reality. Please respect the space of our family and friends as we figure out our next steps. Sincerely, Bryan.”
Abasolo is now seeking spousal support from his wife, Lindsay, according to court documents obtained by Explosion. He also claims that their home in North Hollywood is community property.
Lindsay and Abasolo don’t have children, so there shouldn’t be any court fights over child support.

During an appearance on Nick Viall’s podcast in December last year, Lindsay opened up about her marriage to Abasolo, following fan rumors that the couple had broken up with each other.
The fan speculation is due to the couple’s very private approach to their marriage and less sharing of intimate moments with each other on social media.
“We’re not putting ourselves out there at all [except] maybe a birthday or a holiday [post here and there]but I think I did that because people were so critical of us when we came off the show,” Lindsay said at the time.
He added, “I just [was like], ‘I want to keep this to ourselves,’ and, you know, marriage has its ups and downs, but you never know when we’re good or when we’re not because we never put it out there. I kind of want to keep it that way, so when I want to share something, I do.”

“Bryan is a sole practitioner [and] he leaves the house at 8. He comes home at 9, 9:30 [at night] sometimes. It’s just him,” Lindsay said at the time.
The TV personality continued, “Me, especially now that I’m not doing ‘Extra,’ I have more free time … and then I’m back in busy mode trying to get a second job, so I go to events. So, we’re just in two completely different places.”
