A lawsuit filed on Monday has accused a member of the popular boy group Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter, of sexually assaulting a minor known as “AR” when he was 23 years old.
Legal documents obtained by Explosion detailing the shocking allegations against Carter by AR
The lawsuit alleges that “on or about August 29, 2003,” the “I Want It That Way” singer took AR to a cabin on his yacht where he supplied her “with alcohol until she was intoxicated at that time.”
It also reads that Carter then “engaged in oral sex with AR and penetrated her vagina with his genitals” and “failed to use protection to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections to AR.”
Following this alleged incident, the documents show that Carter told AR to keep the “sexual abuse of her” a secret.
Shortly after this incident, legal filings read that AR was sexually assaulted again on the bus by Carter after being encouraged by the singer and her sister, Angel Carter, to meet him in the vehicle’s lounge.

The legal document further reads that AR, who is still a minor, was sexually assaulted by Carter “on or about October 27, 2003.”
The singer is said to be hosting a party on his two boats, with his sister Angel and “three grown men” in attendance. On this occasion, the document reads that Carter regularly provided AR with alcohol and drugs that “caused him to get drunk on his Yacht.”
It also alleges that Carter “directed” three adult men present to watch “the AR attack through the window door on the boat.”
According to legal documents, Carter continued to sexually assault AR on his yacht even though she “refused and asked him to stop.”

According to court documents, the lawsuit alleges that Carter infected the child with the human papillomavirus, also known as HPV, which can cause cervical and other cancers.
AR told his mother about the alleged assault, and his mother, in turn, reported the case to police in Pennsylvania “in or about December 2003,” but Carter was never charged with a crime.
Legal documents indicate that the causes of action are sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
He Was Previously Accused Of Rape By An Autistic Woman

Carter was previously hit with serious allegations by a woman named Shannon “Shay” Ruth and her attorney. On December 8, 2022, the autistic woman, in tears, claimed on Facebook that the singer sexually assaulted her when she was just 17 years old.
As The Blast reported, Ruth lamented, “The past 21 years have been filled with pain, confusion, frustration, shame, and self-harm as a direct result of Nick Carter raping me.”
He continued, “Even though I am autistic and live with cerebral palsy, I believe that nothing has influenced me more or made a more lasting impact on my life than what Nick Carter did and said to me.”
Ruth claims that Carter used abusive language on her, left her with bruises on her arm, and was very “threatening” and “mean”.
She said: “After he raped me, I remember him calling me a ‘re***ded b**ch’ and holding me and leaving bruises on my arms…Carter tried to scare me into silence… he’s mean and threatening. “

Carter denied Ruth’s claims in a statement to Page Six by his attorney, Michael Holtz.
The singer slammed the allegations as false and “not worth the legalese.” He also claimed that Ruth was manipulated several times into making accusations against him.
“This allegation about an incident that supposedly happened more than 20 years ago is not only worthless in terms of law but also untrue. “Unfortunately, for several years now, Ms. Ruth has been manipulated into making false allegations about Nick – and those allegations have changed repeatedly and materially over time,” the statement said.
At the time, Carter was also backed and supported by the Backstreet Boys. When one of the members, AJ McLean, was asked if he felt it was fair that the band’s Holiday show was canceled because of the allegations against Carter, he replied, “It’s an ongoing legal matter, and we all stand behind Nick, we all support he is completely and we love him.”
