The Puerto Rican rapper, 29, seemed to throw shade at the former One Direction band member during his headlining performance at Coachella.

Bad Bunny was performing “El Apagón” from his latest album, “Un Verano Sin Ti,” when a tweet slamming Harry Styles appeared on the giant screen.

The tweet read, “Goodnight Benito can do anything, but Harry can’t do El Apagón,” implying that Bad Bunny could write Styles’ hit song, but Styles couldn’t do “El Apagón,” making Bad Bunny even more versatile.

The two artists went head-to-head at the recent Grammy Awards as their albums were up for the coveted Album of the Year honor. However, “Harry’s House” by Styles took home the golden gramophone.

The Latino rapper also added to the excitement by kicking off his performance with a video introduction that paid homage to previous headliners. Despite being one of the three headliners at last year’s edition, Styles was overlooked in the montage that paid tribute to Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish and The Weeknd.

Bad Bunny made history by becoming the first Spanish-speaking artist to headline Coachella. The “YHLQMDLG” singer first performed at the festival in 2019, but he was still considered a new artist at the time.

Before he started performing, he notably paused to ask the crowd what language they preferred him to speak, English or Spanish, to which the festival audience unanimously chose Spanish.

“Latins have been rompiéndola (killing it) for some time now,” he said. “I just did a tour last year that I never imagined I would be able to do. I’ve been out for a while, but I’m back, and it feels like cabrón is here tonight and you’re all here with me.”

Also performing alongside the rapper are artists such as Jhayco, Jowell & Randy, Ñengo Flow and Post Malone.

The rapper, during his set, gave an emotional speech, explaining past issues and showing that people shouldn’t believe everything they hear.

“With humility, people think they know the lives of famous people, but they don’t,” he said firmly, every Billboard. “They don’t know what we feel, what we go through. They will never know what the heart can feel.”

He continued, “Don’t believe everything you hear. You won’t get to know the real me through videos on Instagram, interviews or TikTok. If you really want to know me, I invite you to my house.”

Bad Bunny also used the opportunity to clarify a recent interview he gave where he said he didn’t feel strongly about the lyrics of one of his songs.

“I don’t regret anything. I don’t regret my mistakes because you learn from your mistakes. The last thing I regret is writing this song,” he said, referring to “El Apagón.”

He’s Now In Hot Legal Waters

The “Narcos: Mexico” actor needs a lawyer as he is reportedly being sued for $40 million by his ex-girlfriend, Carliz De La Cruz Hernández, for using a recording of his voice without permission.

Between 2011 and 2016, Bad Bunny and Hernandez dated, and during that time, he allegedly asked her to record himself saying, “Bad Bunny baby.” The rapper used recordings of his voice in two of his songs, “Pa Ti” and “Dos Mil 16,” both of which have garnered approximately 1 billion streams on YouTube and Spotify.

The lawsuit reads in part, “Thousands of people have commented live on Carliz’s social media networks, as well as whenever he goes out in public, about ‘Bad Bunny, baby.’ This has caused and currently causes De La Cruz to feel worried, sad, scared, overwhelmed and anxious.”

In the midst of his legal troubles, Bad Bunny seems to have found a new girl as he has been linked to model, Kendall Jenner. The two have been seen kissing and enjoying each other’s company several times.
