Death
Baiju Paravoor died on 26 June 2023 at the age of 42, allegedly due to food poisoning. On 24 June 2023, he went to Kozhikode to discuss a film project, and while returning to Kollam, he ate at a restaurant after which he complained of physical discomfort and chest pain. He went to a hospital near his wife’s house in Kunnamkulam on June 24, 2023 and returned on June 25, 2023; however, he again complained of physical discomfort and was admitted to a hospital in Kuzhuppilly. As his condition worsened, he was taken to a hospital in Kochi where he died on the morning of 26 June 2023, and his funeral was held on the evening of 26 June 2023.
