During his appearance on Thursday’s episode of “Steve-O’s Wild Ride! Podcast” Margera revealed the details of his shocking health crisis last month.

He confirmed that he was hospitalized for a severe case of COVID, although he didn’t realize it early enough. By the time it was known, his immune system was overwhelmed.

“I was basically pronounced dead on Elvis’ birthday, December 8. I didn’t know I had severe COVID,” Margera told fellow “Jackass” co-star and host Steve-O, per People magazine.

The incident left the former pro skateboarder spending eight days in hospital as he battled the ill effects of the disease.

He added of the experience, “My body died, and I had four convulsions, each lasting 10 to 20 minutes, and on the fourth one, I bit my tongue so hard, I almost fell.”

In addition to the seizures, Margera also had Pneumonia, as her bloody tongue meant she swallowed a small dose of infected blood.

He said. “It became very swollen and swollen, it didn’t fit in my mouth, and I drank infected blood, which gave me pneumonia too, so when the shaman took me to the hospital, I had my fifth seizure, and I couldn’t breathing without a tube down my throat.”

During the entire time she was hospitalized, Margera was unconscious without being aware of her surroundings, so it’s no surprise that when she woke up, she believed she had only been in the hospital for a short time.

“I woke up five days later thinking I was there for a few hours,” he continued. “They were like, ‘Dude, you’ve been here for almost a week. We’re trying to get the tube out, and you’re not breathing on your own.’ “

Fortunately, Margera’s health recovered, and he was released on December 10 after doctors gave him the all-clear.

After leaving the hospital, she took to Instagram to celebrate, sharing a photo of herself with Johnny Schillereff, both wearing matching black hoodies with a white heart label on the left side of the chest.

“I’m out!” she captioned the post, which prompted positive comments from fans. “Thank you to my friends, family and you for your love, support and prayers.”
