In the caption of the video revealing the new tattoo, Nicki wrote, “Got to get @bam__margera’s tattoo today what a great ride, thanks guys for being genuine and cool!”
In the comments, fans were quick to praise the TV personality. “He was just at the shop where I work a few weeks ago! He is very kind and seems very genuine. I hope he stays on the up and up,” commented one fan. “Very good to all of us. She’s rad,” Nikki replied.
“Yooooo this is awesome!! He was at Costco,” another follower shared. “Second person I know this week who met him haha,” a third fan chimed in. “I really hope he’s ok today, he’s looking a little better,” shared another follower. “It’s cool when he wakes up. Hope he stays that way,” another fan agreed.
According to TMZ, the meaning behind the tattoo is a reference to the “Florida Shuffle,” which is a term that describes substance users with good health insurance in Florida. They often go to various rehabilitation centers that charge insurance for their stay.

Although Bam was not placed under conservatorship like Britney Spears, Bam claims that their situation is similar. Britney was placed under conservatorship from February 2008 until November 2021, when it was revoked by a judge after about 13 years.
Meanwhile, Bam claims that his interventionist actually made a profit by keeping him in rehab, as the outlet noted. According to them, Bam claims that he has done the “Guinness Book of World Records of Florida longest shuffle for nearly 2 years” and claims that 10 consecutive stays in rehab have cost him over $660,000.

Earlier this year, Bam also compared herself to the Princess of Pop, dubbing herself the “Britney Spears of ‘Jack—'” while working on a stand-up comedy routine with Steve-O earlier this year. He had been celebrating being one month sober after getting out of rehab and had been spending time with his girlfriend, Dannii, at a farm outside of Philadelphia.
He has focused on skateboarding and has lost weight amid his sobriety. It has been reported that his friends are only supporting him and hoping for the best.
Nicole Boyd And Bam Margera Have Split Up
In March 2023, Bam’s wife Nicole Boyd filed for legal separation, claiming that his drinking problem was the main cause of the split. In court filings, he stated that he was worried about how his drunkenness could harm their son, Phoenix.
At the time, Nicole stated that it was a “difficult choice” to end their 10-year marriage, but felt that it was necessary to “protect herself and her child.” Although she has been in and out of rehab since 2018, Nicole is waiting until 2021 to get full custody of their five-year-old son after Bam relapsed.
In August 2023, Bam was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct after law enforcement officers found him arguing loudly with a woman outside a hotel at 4:30 in the morning. Officers who arrived at the scene noted in their report that he was unbalanced, slurred, and smelled of alcohol.
Although he was arrested, Bam was rescued by his best friend after it was clear he had not harmed the woman he was arguing with in any way. However, after the incident, the court granted Nicole Boyd temporary custody of their son, Phoenix. The former couple is expected to return to court in a few months.
