Basheer was born on 25 September 1988 in Ernakulam, Kerala, India. He is better known with the name, DJ-Bash. Since childhood, he took interest in acting and music. He didn’t take any professional training in such fields. Due to his attractive looks and voice, he got a chance to host the TV show. After the great performance in his debut TV show, he received lots of offers to host or to feature in the music videos. He is now the part of the most controversial reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 1 as a contestant.

He is a smart and handsome guy with great personality. He is approximately 5’ 7” tall and weighs around 60 kg. Basheer is a fitness freak and visits the gym regularly. His chest is to be around 38 Inches, waist 30 Inches, and biceps 14 Inches. He has grey eyes and black hair.

Basheer Bashi married twice. On 21 December 2009, he got married to a model, DJ & beautician, Suhana Bashi with whom he has a son Muhammad Zaigham Basheer and a daughter Sunaina Sunu. He also married to an entrepreneur, Mashura Mashu after few years of in a relationship.

Career
He did his schooling at RPMHS, Ernakulam, Kerala, and graduation at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. Due to his interest in music, he initially started working as a musician and released his two albums which became popular. He later started working as a model and hosting TV shows. Basheer also made his appearance in Malayalam music videos like Azhake En Kadhaliye (2015), Pathiye (2017), etc. Before entering the entertainment industry, he worked as a DJ for a short period.
He also runs a clothing store since 2017 for men in Kochi with the name, Borna Fashion Hub. He also founded the Borna Beard Oil.
