Disgusted Director’s Son

David Hand is the director of the original 1937 version and now his son of the same name David Hand Jr. claimed his father and Mr. Walt Disney himself would be rolling over in their graves because of the hate from Zegler and the way they “woke” allegedly forced on classic films.
Zegler said he hated the original film because he found it “dated”. The 91-year-old clapped his hands through Telegraph stated that those who hated the film “don’t know what they’re talking about.”
He described them as a “misunderstanding” and that the new film constitutes a “different concept,” and not what his father made or ever intended. “I know my father and Walt would also strongly disagree with it.”
‘New Things Wake Up’

Hand went on to slam the new film and the cast said they were “inventing new things” and that they “disrespected what Disney did and what my dad did.” Hands have brilliant ideas, come up with your own.
He was so disturbed that Zegler thought the 1937 prince was a “stalker”, and was thankful that his “strange” storyline would not feature in the new film. The actor told Diversity“She will not be saved by a prince and she will not dream of true love.”
She also shared that the original Snow White voice would be offended and “scared” by the idea that her character was not a feminist.

As if Hand wasn’t annoyed enough and opposed to enough opinions about the film, Hulk actress Jameela Jamil also had some things to say. In a lengthy post on Instagram, he slammed the hate Zegler received and added some thoughts of his own.
“Did I miss something? Not defending anyone. Just checking. Greta Gerwig wrote a girlboss doll movie. Everyone loved it and came out wanting to protect women. Greta Gerwig has also written and adapted a new princess movie into girlboss, which is coming out next year,” write it
“But Rachel Zegler is barely a teenager, wrote nothing, but gets the full blame for the new script and direction of a movie she didn’t write/produce, but only acted in and supported the change.”
Jameela Jamil Is A Feminist

The actress couldn’t help herself she had to clap her hands at a small feminist comment made by Hand.
“There are valid feminist critiques of the way we see women in a very binary way, but No one is saying *anything* to or about Greta Gerwig or the producers or studios that made this change and gave the actors this talk… but instead launched the most female-led personal attack hate campaign I’ve seen since Anne Hathaway. So.. what happened? I really don’t understand. Explain it to me like I’m 5 years old.”
